A Beautiful Light

The moon rising
in the night,
low in the sky
it looks so bright –
beaming, almost full,
does it not appear
to be so close
next to the horizon,
close to the earth,
you cannot miss
when moon shows up
in its full
and magnificent state.

Are you not a full
and beaming Light,
yes, you may experience
phases,
different ways that
you may shine,
can your Light
not be seen
by those around you,
or are drawn to –
does not Light
beget Light?

Do you not raise
your face
up to the moon,
up towards the sun –
do you not seek,
the warmth,
the glow –
do not celestial Lights
remind you that
against dark sky,
or through the clouds,
is there not a Light
that always shines?

Can you be a
shining Light
that glows,
that may light
the way
for one to walk –
and as other Lights turn on,
do you all not shine
much like the sun,
like the full moon rising
in the sky,
so bright you find
you cannot look away –
so powerful is
a Light that shines
in the Truth
of its magnificence.

You Are a magnificent
Light that shines,
against dark sky
or light of day.
You Are both a single Light
and part of All That Shines –
is it not Love
that lights up the path
as you walk along
your way?

Shine on,
Beautiful Light,
Shine on.

The Size of Love

There may be times
when the human side
of you feels small –
and does not
the word “small”
make you think
of less than,
“needing” to grow,
maybe not living
up to your
potential –
are there not
many judgements
that go with
the energy,
the thought
of playing “small?”

And if you think
in comparative terms,
when you feel small,
does not the world
feel so big –
is small not an indicator
that you are feeling
separation,
is this not the perspective
of a grain of sand
on an endless beach,
or a drop of water
in an ocean so vast –
is there anything “small”
about the ocean,
smoothing the edges
of its partner
the beach?

And yes, you could say
ocean and beach
are “big” –
but that does not
capture the power
of either,
or how both work
together,
to be land
and water,
where does ocean end,
where does sand begin –
are they not both part
of an even “bigger”
world?

There are many perspectives,
different parts of You –
that you get to experience
as the identifiable you,
but are you not
as powerful
as the majestic ocean,
are you not as peaceful
as a ribbon of beach,
are you All not part of
the same Source Energy –
are you not All fueled
by the Power of Love?

You need not be
big or small.
Be You as
the Vibration of Love.
You Are the smallest
grain of sand.
You Are the
entire Universe.

All Is Love.
Be that Love.
Yes,
You Are That.

True Colors

A spectacle of color
is beginning to show
on the palette of Fall.

A carpet of color
on a winding road,
leaves already fallen
from the wind and rain,
but do not their colors
catch your eye,
as if the road
has always been lined
with yellow, orange
and red?

What color leaves
on the trees,
do you see –
do they not
seem to stagger
their bursts of color,
might it be the
red hues,
that one day
draw your attention,
then next a wave of yellow,
is all you can see?

Is there not
a symphony
of change,
of color,
a perfection in timing
that you need not know
to enjoy,
this changing painting of Fall,
orchestrated by Nature,
does it not change often,
something new to see
every day?

Does not each tree,
each leaf,
have its own timing
of when to let go
of summer’s green –
does not Leaf display
its true colors in Fall,
is it not time for Leaf,
that once blended in,
to step into its beauty,
now saying, “look at me!”

Is this not a Season
to celebrate color,
to gasp when Light
brings out colors
so bright –
what are your
True Colors,
that you wish to share,
to let the Light
shine on you
so bright –
is there not a perfection
of timing,
at work behind
the scenes,
as you build momentum,
as you reach a peak?

But as the leaf shows,
Fall is not a finale,
after winter’s rest,
will not spring begin anew –
can you enjoy and celebrate
each season of experiencing,
do not your True Colors,
come shining through?

Celebrate the colorful
Palette of You.
Display your
True Colors
in the Light of Love.

Simply, Elegant Love

What are you ready
to see,
what appears before
your eyes,
do not opportunities
for growth,
for change
abound?

When you are ready
to look more closely,
what comes up
to your awareness –
might you now see
what was hidden
from your view?

Like spider webs
in morning dew,
do not many
then appear,
these amazing works of art,
swaying in the breeze,
in fields of grass,
on wires up high,
many more than you
can count,
but you do not
see them
if the conditions
are not right.

What comes up
in your awareness,
as you look another way –
maybe from a
different perspective,
than you had before?

Can you look beyond
the obvious,
as you broaden
your perspective –
might things take on
a different meaning,
if you question
your beliefs,
as you ask yourself,
is what I am seeing
really True?

Is the Truth
not more simple,
then what drama
would have you believe –
when you strip away
the stories,
are you not looking
to believe
what is always there
for you,
are you not looking
for the answer –
and is it not
simply, elegant
Love?

Does Love not appear
when you least expect it,
is it not here
when you call it out,
does Love not appear
when you draw Light near,
when you are ready
to see –
simply, elegant,
Love?

Can you imagine
the morning dew,
that shows you
what you missed before,
when you are ready
to see
All That You Are –
is it not simply, elegant
Love?

You need not
make it complicated,
no special program
do you need –
Love is where
you look for Love,
by Be-ing Love
do you not find Love,
can you start
with a single thought
that begins with
simply, elegant
Love?

When you are ready
to see,
what appears before
your eyes,
can you see
the amazing
Work of Art,
that is simply, elegant
Love?

See Love
in All
you see –
simply,
elegant,
Love.

Turtle’s Lesson

A turtle
sits on a log, sunning,
soaking up the
sun’s rays
even as he
wears his
protective shell –
he stretches out
all of the
parts he can
to feel the
warming rays.

His journey
to this log
was slow,
methodical,
as Turtle
can teach you
a lot about time,
purpose,
determination,
focus.

When turtle
is finished
on the log
he moves toward
and slips into
the nearby water.

And then feet
that were awkward,
even if steady,
on the land,
pull through
the water
like the flippers
on a diver,
as turtle
moves through
the water,
free of the
heaviness of its shell,
moving freely
in this aquatic realm,
it is almost
effortless –
he is free.

And you wonder
why turtle
would crawl
out of the water,
onto land,
where it appears
he has to work
so much harder
to get where
he is going.

Maybe turtle
doesn’t think
or worry about time –
as Turtle teaches
you to be
“steady as you go.”

And as there
are two sides to Turtle –
so do you
walk along
on your journey
in this Life –
soaking up
the sun when you can,
moving about your day,
with purpose,
determination,
focus –
until you
move inward,
maybe sitting in the silence,
or immersing yourself
in an activity you love,
that brings you Joy –
when you forget
about time
and effortlessly move
into this flow
of dreaming,
creating,
being.

And in this moment
are you not like
the turtle in the water –
merging the
two sides of You?
You Are
both physical and spiritual.

Let each side
come together
to help you
through this Life –
feeling the freedom
that Is within You always,
as you remember
to move with the Flow,
the Flow of Love
that resides
within You –
helping you
move effortlessly.

You Are Free.

A Bridge to Love

When you wish
to feel grounded,
can you not
visualize a tree –
firmly rooted
in the earth,
but reaching for
the stars up high?

Are you not like
this wooden bridge
that connects
mother earth
to the sky above –
do you not center,
do you not know Strength,
are you not a conduit
for Love?

Can you embrace
both ground
and sky,
are you not a part
of here
and there –
and when you wish
to feel at Peace,
fully grounded,
is it not always
through Love?

Your limbs may sway
when it is windy,
some branches break,
some branches grow –
but your roots
are firmly grounded,
with trunk so strong
do you not still grow?

There is power,
there is majesty
in a tree
so tall and strong –
can you stand tall,
feet so grounded,
with heart open
to it All?

Can you be a
Bridge of Love,
secure in both
worlds at once?
You are human,
You Are Spirit –
centered by
the Flow of Love.

Ground and sky.
Here and There.
Is it not Love
that connects it All?

As You Are Love,
stand tall –
and Be a majestic
Bridge of Love.

Cascade of Love

A waterfall,
where water flows,
are you not witness
to its Strength,
are you not amazed
at the power,
the sound,
as the waterfall
is ever-flowing –
is this not like
the sound of Love?

Does it not feel
like magic –
the waterfall,
with no beginning
and with no end,
the water simply
appears to fill in,
you look at the rocks
over which water flows,
each rock making its
own waterfall,
the water is everywhere
in each crevice and crack –
is this not like
when you look at Love?

Is not Love as powerful
as the waterfall,
you see it as Whole
made up of separate parts –
are you not a unique aspect
of All That Is –
are you not a
drop of water
in this Cascade of Love?

Are you not an
expression
of always flowing –
where do you begin,
where do you end,
do you not cycle,
lettings Love’s journey
show you the Strength,
the Courage,
the Love you have
within?

You roar like
the majestic
sound of water.
You sparkle with
the beauty,
the eternal Love
that shines.
You Are an integral part
of the Whole
that cannot end,
that will not cease
and will never, ever
die.

Keep flowing.
Keep moving.
With the Love
that moves you
over obstacles
and with the flow.

Be still and listen
to the music
That Is You.
Be You and see
You Are Always,
Always Love.

Growing

Grow where you are
planted,
thrive with what
comes your way,
soak up up what
speaks to you,
letting what does not
to pass through –
do you not know
what resonates
with the vessel
That Is You?

Be Where You Are.
Do not worry there
is somewhere else
to go,
or something else
you “need” to do,
let your roots
hold firm and steady,
breath in the air
that breathes You –
are you not growing
exactly Where
You Are
right now?

Is not where you are
planted,
a temporary place –
yes, you belong
to Mother Earth,
but are you not part
of the sun,
as you reach for
the sky,
do you not belong,
are you not One
with the Love
of All That Is?

Can you not grow
wherever you are
planted,
yes, placed here
with intention,
but You Are Everywhere
at once –
can you feel Gratitude
for the magnificent vessel
That You Are and
That Is You?

Take in what speaks
to you.
Resonate with what
moves you.
With Love surrounding you,
it is what breathes You.
Grow.
Be.
Flourish.
Thrive.
Love Is
Where You Are.

Be a star.

Like the stars shining
in the sky,
can you brighten
up even
darkest night,
if one star fades
does not another
grow bright –
do they all not
twinkle their own
unique Light?

As stars appear to move
across the sky,
do not constellations
stay together,
even as they shift –
like them,
are you not
connected still,
even when your
perspectives change –
maybe looking at
the earth
from a different view?

Be a star.
You are a unique Light,
with your own
beautiful glow,
in a symphony of Light –
a shining One
part of the Whole,
you may move,
you may flicker,
but do you not
always shine
with the Light and Love
that flows through You?

You Are a perfect
Light that shines.
Sometimes the filter
of the earth
may obstruct your view,
but with eyes
of the heart,
do you not see
the Love
That Is You,
as you twinkle, twinkle,
beautiful Star?

Be a Star.
Shine your Light.
Beautiful Light.
Beautiful You.
You Are Light.
You Are Love.
Shine.

Resilient

Resilient.

Is not resilience
standing tall,
despite when you may
stumble or fall,
do you not find ways
to get back up,
to be flexible enough
to bend not break –
like the tree
when leaves or
branches fall,
does it not stay
grounded
standing tall?
Resilient.

Do you not weather
any storm
and find ways to
stay safe and warm,
even when turmoil
is high,
during times when
water or smoke
fill the sky –
with help,
with support,
do you not get through
anything Mother Nature
can throw at you?
Resilient.

Is it not in
the aftermath
that the good
comes out,
the helpers help –
after chaos’ fun
is through,
is it not the perfect time
for Gratitude,
to get back up
to let the healing begin,
to reconstruct,
to rejuvenate,
to rise from the ashes
once again.
Resilient.

Yes, you may prefer
for Peace to reign,
it can within the eye
of any storm –
but do you not
recognize your
Strength and Courage,
when life can batter
and throw you around –
do you not look within
You to see,
“I Am That and
All Is Well.”

And Who Are You?
You Are Love.
You Are Strength.
You Are Courage.
You Are Peace and
You Are Amazing.
