Balance.
And is life at times
like a balancing act
on a big round ball –
there are times
when both feet
are firmly planted,
but when the ball rolls,
do you sometimes scramble
to stay on top,
to not fall down,
do you not feel
as if the ball
initiates the movement,
with you following
its lead,
working to keep up,
seeking to find
the balance to
stop,
relax
and breathe?
Would it not help
if there was a string,
a cord,
that could help
hold you up,
to give you something
to hold on to,
pulling you up
above the ball,
so that you would not
be as affected
by the rolling,
the tumbling
of a ball,
that sometimes knocks
you off your feet?
Is there not always
a golden cord
that is always at
your fingertips,
that keeps you
connected
to All That Is,
is this not loving support
that can lift you up
just enough at times
to give you a break,
to see that
your balancing act
need not be in charge
of Who You Are –
with clearer eyes,
might you see
a different way
to find balance,
to Be?
Does not the ball
that you balance on,
help you find what works
or what you no longer need –
when in doubt,
or when you
take a tumble,
remember the cord,
your connection to Source
and remember that you are
always Loved and supported.
You Are every strand
that makes up this cord.
You Are the Love
and support
of All That Is.
Does this awareness
not let you feel
the Strength and Courage
to find balance in
the balancing act
of the School of Life?
With awareness,
with intention –
there is no need to look
to find the cord –
feel the connection,
sense the Love.
You Are Always
connected to Love.
