Food,
water,
shelter.
When stripped down
to the basic needs,
is this not when
you feel the same
in this world of
duality,
where separation
and differences reign –
when a catastrophic event,
man-made or nature’s way,
makes you think
“that could be me”,
does that not create
a common cause,
when compassion
becomes the norm,
when help and aid
come in with
food,
water,
shelter?
And when you move beyond
the story,
of the human side
of you,
is this not when
you feel the same,
in this world
of duality,
when you realize
that you share
the Common Cause
of Love?
Is it not Love
that fuels compassion,
that gives you the drive
to want to help –
is it not the feeling
of being there
for someone else –
what lights the spark
in your heart,
what makes your soul
leap with Joy –
you may not be aware
of what you feel,
but is it not Love
that nudges you
to take the step,
the right thing to do –
in times of need,
does it not feel good
to share a Common Cause
of Love?
Food,
water,
shelter.
Yes, you have learned
these basic needs
are the building blocks
of being human,
but as You Are Spirit,
here and now,
do you not exist
because of Love –
is not Love
the fuel you need,
as basic as
the air you breathe –
and when that is gone,
do you not live on
with the Common Cause
of Love?
If at any time
you could see,
that you all share
a common cause –
it is not only to have
what you need
to live to see another day,
but to feel
the spark,
the flame,
the Light,
that ignites in You,
Who You Are
right now –
do you not wish
to be in the presence of –
the Common Cause
of Love?
Share.
Give.
Unite
in Love.
Be-cause.
Be You.
Be Love.
You Are Love Now
