As the curtain
slowly opens,
do you not
take in the scene –
and does not
what you thought
would be –
disappear,
as you are in the moment
of what is playing out
before your eyes –
no longer hidden
behind the curtain,
no longer a
thought that
you created
based on what might
have been?

As you live
in linear times –
is it not easy
to scan your timeline –
yes, there is

present
and future
that your mind

play,
