A moonbeam
of light
is enough
to cut through
the night,
to illuminate
what you
need to see,
so you won’t
stumble in
the dark –
when it is dark,
it does not
take much
light to see.
Is that not why
the moon’s shine
is so bright
against a sky,
though peppered
with stars,
the inky black
is the perfect
backdrop
for the moon
to shine
and glow –
casting moonbeams
to lighten
a path
for whoever
needs light
to find their way.
Is darkness
not a contrast,
a perfect
compliment
to the light –
does not
the moonbeam appear
even brighter
than the sun,
does it not
catch your attention,
does it not
highlight
what you are
to see?
It may only take
a single beam
of Light,
to light
your way –
has not light
filtered in
before
to shine
the way
for you?
Might you
turn up
your own Light –
might someone
need a single
beam,
to keep
from stumbling
in the dark –
even if they
do not know
where
the beam of
Light
is coming from?
If a single moonbeam
from the moon,
so far away,
can shine on
You –
can your Light
not cut through
the dark,
to reach
whoever may need
some Light –
you need not
know
where it lands –
can you shine
your Light
as freely
as the moon?
Be a Light
for Love
that cuts through
the dark,
illuminating
what you need
to see,
so you will not stumble,
you will not fall –
it only takes
a drop of Light
to see
and find
your way.
Shine your
Light of Love.
Let your Light
illuminate
your path.
May you shine
and glow
in the
Light of Love –
far reaching,
always shining,
Love.
