Be Fearless

Be fearless.

As you drop,
slough off,
what you no longer need,
as you see what may
be weighing you down,
is there not a lift,
a lightness when,
like a snake,
you shed your skin,
what you are now
may not look like
you then –
Be fearless.

Are there cords,
are you attached,
to scripts
that unfold
like a play –
things do not have
to play out
in a certain way,
can you break free
from a mold
that keeps you hidden,
dimming your light –
Be fearless.

Can you take a chance,
try something new,
move toward the unknown
with great delight,
might you not know
that you have wings,
until you leap
and then take flight –
is there not freedom,
is there not Joy,
“I wish I may,
I wish I might” –
is it not time
to get your wish –
Be fearless.

Let go of expectations
that may constrict
what freedom looks like,
“Oh, I must do this!”
Let Joy take you
by the hand,
with a heart full of Love,
does it not expand,
do you not rise,
can you now fly –
Be fearless.

Be Joy.
Be Courage.
Be Kind
to You.

Be fearless
in the Love
That You Are.
