Love Is All

And is this not like
watching a movie –
you may skip ahead,
you may rewind,
do you not have
favorite parts
that you wish to see –
over and over again?

What parts make you laugh,
what parts make you cry,
either way,
are there not parts
of the movie
that touch your heart,
do you not go to scenes
that open the heart,
so that you may
feel the emotion,
and be washed in Love?

Might you mark
any day on the calendar,
to call in your loved ones
that you hold dear,
it may be a shared memory,
an object that you see –
a picture,
a song,
changing leaves on a tree,
your loved ones are with you –
do they not draw near
to share in the magical,
mystery of Love –
that needs no reminders
or dates on a page,
for are you not
always connected by Love?

Speak their name,
turn up your light.
Make each day
a celebration
of Love and Light.
There is no right way
or wrong way –
what feels “right” to you –
your loved ones
will always see
the Light that is
You.

Make an appointment
with your open heart.
No matter the date,
no matter the time.
Love transcends.
All that matters
Is Love.
Always Here.
Always There.
Always Love.
