A Timeless Gift

Time can appear to 
pass so quickly,
sometimes it slows 
down to a crawl,
time pressure can
make you feel that
life has you up 
against a wall.

Come Home to This 
present moment,
This Gift is always 
Here for you,
does not time then 
melt away,
as you experience 
This Moment new.

Let Love’s well-spring 
rise up within,
you suddenly remember
how to breathe,
when you peel off 
time-stamped layers,
are you not refreshed,
alive and free?

Yes time is part of the
human condition,
but you need not always 
wear this coat,
may the only ticking
that you hear is
your heartbeat singing
