Comfort and Kindness

In the depths of 
a cold winter,
it may be hard to 
see the light,
but is not each day
getting lighter,
in the crisp night air
are not stars so bright?

 

You Are Light and 
warmth together,
even when life may
get you down,
your smile may comfort 
a total stranger,
what you stand up for
may turn another around.

 

You are All in this 
life together,
find Strength in each other –
Be each other’s Light,
share comfort and kindness
in a cold dark winter,
lifting each other in 
this dream of life.
