Sacred Layers

You need not dive 
into your past,
though it may inform
this Present You,
you need not dredge up 
all the details,
but it may affect what 
now you do.

Deal with these echoes in
the present moment,
you cannot change past
from before,
acknowledge what has 
brought you to now,
you may want less or 
maybe more.

Resist ego’s urge to 
go back to a time
that has already 
been,
see your Self in 
Present Time,
with no need to re-do
past again.

Your culmination of 
experiences
are sacred layers that 
make up you,
in This Present Moment Now –
draw from This Wisdom
in All you do!
