As Above . . .

Push the button.
Take the elevator
to the top.

Would this not
be an analogy
you might use,
to visualize
rising “up”
to a place,
to a different perspective,
to a higher
vantage point –
to your Higher Self?

And once
at the “top”,
do you not
remove yourself
from the hustle
and the bustle,
giving you time
to think,
to reflect,
to absorb
what’s been
going on
“down” below?

And we use
above and below
as examples
of different states
of be-ing,
of your awareness –
for is not
your Higher Self
with you
all the time?

But in the
day to day
of life
and its distractions,
the work,
the play
that you experience –
the learning
that takes place,
does not your
human-ness
take over
to get you
through the day,
or so you think?

Is not your
Higher Self
always there –
you think
assisting from
the sidelines,
for is it not
difficult to see
the bigger picture
when you are
in the day to day
down on the street –
until you push
the button to
see the view
from the top?

Might your Higher Self
be the One
who is directing you
here or there –
does not inspiration
feel as if it is
dropped in from above?

Even if you
are not aware
of the view
from above –
as you are
always connected
to All That Is –
there is not
a separate place
to go –
you cannot separate
yourself from Love –
but does it not
help to see the Truth
of Who You Are –
do you not
sometimes need
to push the button
to get to the top –
to see the view
from a different place,
to be aware
there is more
to You
than meets
the eye?

Might you push
the button often
throughout your
day to day –
can you raise
your awareness
to the Love
That You Are –
to the Love
that Always Is –
incorporating
All of You,
not on separate floors
that you must
travel to –
might you be aware
and integrate
All of You
at all times
to Be the
Love That You Are?

Push the button
to remind yourself
that You Are Love,
then realize
you need not
go anywhere
to find the Love
that is always
within you.

You Are Here.
You Are Home.
You Are Love.

Let Love Heal

20170507 XPicture

5/07/17

Where does it hurt?

Is not pain
often used
as an indicator –
to lead,
to point,
to what is hurting,
to what wishes
to be healed
and sometimes –
there is a source
that can be found,
that can be fixed –
a splinter removed,
a scrape that needs
tending,
a broken bone
that given a chance
will heal
and often will
grow back
even stronger –
does not the body
do an amazing job
to try to heal
itself?

But as pain
is an indicator,
good at getting
your attention –
yes, there is pain
that does not
go away quickly
with a bandaid,
or medication,
it may not
be tied
to a physical symptom,
you may even know
the source of your pain,
but are there not
things that you
cannot change –
the reason
that you believe
you are in pain –
where does it hurt?

And if you
cannot go back
in time
to change,
to fix,
what you wish
to heal –
are you not
an amazing
regenerating body,
enveloped
with the Love
of All That Is
within your soul –
do you not
really need
to know –
where does it hurt?

Can you accept
the healing balm
of Love
that is always there –
might the healing
Force of Love
not only heal
but allow you
to grow even stronger –
do you not turn
to Love
to turn away
from the pain?
Can you transmute
the pain
so that it
can show you
more Love –
where does it hurt?

Are you not able
to recognize pain
in someone else –
does not the
understanding of pain
bring compassion,
bring more Love –
if pain is an
indicator,
getting your attention,
bringing up opportunities
to be healed –
to open and accept
the healing balm
of Love –
might you
embrace pain
and as you
love the pain, too –
do you not
open up to the
healing properties
of Love –
where does it hurt?

As hurt
and pain
cry out
for relief –
can you let
Love in
to soothe,
to heal,
to show
that You Are Loved?

Let Love heal,
let Love embrace
You,
the pain,
the hurt,
there is nothing
Love cannot do –
where there is hurt,
where there is pain,
There Is Love.

Serving Love

20170506 XPicture

5/06/17

To be of service.

To serve,
to give,
to help,
to believe
in something
that is outside of you
and your daily needs –
does it not
feel good
to be of service
to others?

And are there not
a plethora of ways
to serve –
be it in
the military,
with community,
performing any
civic duty,
you may be paid
or volunteer –
any way that
you can help
to be of service
to someone,
something outside
of yourself?

Is there not
a sense,
even a need
to extend a hand,
to help someone,
to be of service,
to do “good”,
does it not
make you feel
good as well?

Is serving
not extending
a part of
yourself –
saying yes,
“I am here
to serve you?”

But is serving
not reciprocal –
is there not
satisfaction
that you feel –
when you help
someone does it
not help you, too?

Might you be
serving the Love
that flows through
each of you –
as you are
an extension
of the Love
of All That Is –
as you extend
service to another,
are you not
also serving Source?

Is not being
of service
an act of surrender
that serves
a greater good –
is there anything
greater than the
Love of the Divine?
Is this not
the Love
that also flows
through You?

So when providing
an act of service –
are you not
honoring the Love
That You Are –
yes, you extend yourself,
but do you
not receive
what you so
freely give?

As you serve Spirit,
the Love of All That Is –
does not surrender
to this Love
let you Be
the Love That You Are –
are not All served
even when
you serve
One?

To Be of service
is to Be Love.
Give.
Receive.
Serve Spirit.
Serve Love.
In all ways,
always,
Love.

Kindred Spirits

20170505 XPicture

5/05/17

There are many ways
and many levels
to get to “know”
someone.

You might
know all of
the information
about what
they do,
who they are
related to,
what they like,
what have they done
in the past,
what are their
future dreams.

But are there
not other ways –
do you not
“know” something
about someone
you have have
just met,
or only came
in contact with
in a less
permanent way –
but do you not
get a sense
about someone
without knowing
the details
of what they “do”
in their day to day
life?

Does this not help
you to look at
what do you
identify with –
how closely
do you relate
what you do,
the details,
the information,
the story –
with Who You Are –
and is it not
difficult to put
into words
this concept of Be-ing?
Is that not why
you rush to fill in
the identifying factors
that you have gathered
so far?

And yes, you have
an identity,
as you live
in this physical world,
with identifying features
that you can use
to connect with others,
or use to put distance
between those
that you think
are different –
that you might not
have much
in common with?

But as you are
so much more
than what you think
makes up your story –
do you not
connect with others
heart to heart first –
not needing to know
what they “do”,
but sensing the Love
that emits from
their soul –
do you not know
this is a kindred spirit,
no matter what
story is told?

And even if a
heart is closed,
someone does not remember
Who They Are –
will their soul
not receive
the Love you send?
For once you embrace
that you are
not your story –
how can you not
send Love
to every Soul?

Are you not All
Kindred Spirits –
made from Love
a part of
All That Is –
yes, you have
connections that
teach you much,
there will be some
you are supposed
to meet –
but underneath
the identifying features,
there beats a heart
that somewhere deep
within its core,
There Is Love
and There Is Light.

Can you see it?
Can you feel it?
Might you look at You
to find it There?

You know Love.
You know Light.
You can find them
Everywhere.
Look with your heart
and seek to find
Love
in every
One.

Motion of Love

20170504 XPicture

5/04/17

When you set
things in motion,
is it sometimes
not like
gears on a machine
that have not
been used
in a long, long time –
might there be
some groaning sounds
as the parts
that have not been used
begin to move –
if there is friction,
from being stuck
in one place,
might the gears
need oil to move –
but do not gears
know what to do
when given the opportunity
to move again?

And as gears,
like cogs,
begin to turn,
is there not
cause and effect –
for every movement,
is there not always
another turn,
another part
that is moving?

Like gears in a machine,
like cogs in a wheel –
does it not take
an initial push,
some oil to loosen the parts,
to set something
in motion –
is there not
an intricate beauty
to a well-oiled machine
that works together
even as you may not
completely understand
or know how
it works?

You may need
some scheduled maintenance,
you may need to address
any problems that arise,
but can you not
set the wheels
in motion –
to take you places
you wish to go –
even if you not know
all of the
hows and whys
on how you get
from here to there?

But if you make
the initial push,
setting gears in motion –
and if you lubricate
the path with Love,
and as you have Faith
that things are
working together,
yes, you can make
adjustments
at any time,
for once you are moving,
is it not easier
to keep things flowing
than when you are
standing still?

Will not Love
show you the way –
can you step
into the flow
of the Motion of Love –
do you not set
in motion
as you begin to move,
a domino effect –
when you do this,
then that can happen –
then that . . .
and then . . .

And Know
that Love
is with you
every step,
through every change,
always ready to help
smooth the way –
as you step
into the Flow,
the Motion of Love.

Beauty of Love

20170503 XPicture

5/03/17

Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder.

And what do you
behold as
beautiful?

Is beauty only seen
with the eyes –
is it not often
seen at the
superficial level –
as a judgement
on appearance,
is not the
word “beautiful”
so often used
that it loses
some of the
feeling that
true beauty
can bring forth?

Yes, there are
images that
you see
that bring
forth a gasp
as you take in
the spectacular beauty
of magnificent
displays of nature –
is there not beauty
in the redwoods,
the canyons that
are grand,
waterfalls that
flow with power,
the first iris
that drops its petals,
so its color
can fully be seen?
Beautiful.

There is beauty
in art created –
with a camera click
or stroke of brush –
it may begin
as imagery
imagined,
but is art not
more than
what you see –
is there not
a resonance
that occurs
when you
gaze at what
is beautiful –
what you feel
within your be-ing,
what beauty resonates
within your soul?

In the physical world,
is not love
often linked with beauty –
when you see
something beautiful –
do you not exclaim,
“I love that!”
do you not seek
to find beauty,
is it not what entertains you –
be it traveling to
look at nature,
to soaking up
the beauty of music
that moves you,
or being touched by
the beauty of
a movie so well done?

Do you not behold
the beauty of
another soul
whose spirit
touches you?

Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder.

Can you not
see beauty
when you
see with
the Eyes of Love?

And do you not
Know beauty
as beautiful
is What You Are –
can you behold
the beauty,
the Love,
that resides
in You?

Are you not
looking for
the spark,
the Light,
the movement
in your soul
that resonates
with the
Beauty of Love?

Be Love.
Be Beautiful.
Behold
the Love
That You Are.

One for All

20170502 XPicture

5/02/17

“All for one
and one for all.”

And does this phrase
not bring together
the concept
of one and all
working together
in harmony –
even as the words
one and all
are often put
at odds with
each other?

Does it not
depend where
the one begins?

If the “one”
is at the
individual level –
does that not
foster a system
that invites separation –
that each “one”
is different,
standing alone
by itself,
seeing other “ones”,
but not feeling
connected?

Is that not why
when feeling separated,
do many “ones”
not seek to find others
just like themselves –
which can often
bring more
separation,
more polarization
with the bigger
groups of “ones?”

Now think of
“one” as One –
One Love,
the Love of
All That Is –
God,
Source,
Divine –
and does not
One Love
encompass All –
is this not
a blanket that
is large enough
to cover All,
to comfort All,
as All vibrates
with this Love –
only with a
unique filter
that you put on
to experience All
in this human world?

Have you not had
many experiences
with what it feels like
to work together –
be it on a team,
at school,
at work,
in a community,
with family,
or a group of friends
working on a project –
a common goal
that fosters teamwork
to experience
the concept
of all for one
and one for all?

What if All
had a common goal
to reach for –
to shine more brightly,
to work together,
to Be,
to Know
Love?

And would this
Expression of Love
not look different
when expressed by All –
but would you not each
feel the Love,
marveling in
each unique
Expression of Joy
that comes with Love –
what if Love
were the common goal
that unites the
All of One –
would not the
expression then be:
One for All
and All for One?

Are not All
and One
the same
when Love Is
All There Is?

Express your uniqueness.
Be one that is
part of the all.
You are surrounded
by teammates –
might you express yourself
and be a part
of this Team of Love?

Be One for All.
Be All for One.
Be Love.
Believe Love.
Believe You
Are One Love.

All of You
Are Love.
All
One
Love.

Follow Your Heart

20170501 XPicture

5/01/17

Follow your heart.

This direction
on what direction
to take,
how to navigate
a course,
lends itself
to directions
less traveled,
to a more
uncertain path
where your thoughts
are concerned –
what is your center
of be-ing
telling you?
Trust your instincts
and follow your heart.

Is there not
a feeling
that is hard to
explain with
the words
of the mind,
when you connect
with the Truth
that your heart
knows is there –
it is not really
emotion,
but is it not
a feeling?
Trust your instincts
and follow your heart.

You have more
than one compass
that will help
lead the way –
can you turn down
the noise of
your thoughts,
to take the path
of Love
that the heart
is tuned into –
with the knowing
of your center
can you trust now
where You Are?
Trust your instincts
and follow your heart.

We are not
asking you
to not think
on your own –
there is a balance
to the life you lead,
but is there
not information
that flows through
your be-ing,
and as You Are
a Be-ing of Love –
do you not
look back on choices,
decisions you
have made
and thought,
“I should have trusted
my instincts
and followed my heart!”

It may be a path
less traveled,
it may put you on
a different route,
but if you feel into
what your heart
is telling you –
might you
be more connected
to the Love That You Are,
as you honor the
Love That You Are
in your heart,
might you trust your instincts
and follow your heart?

Let Love
lead the
way to
Love.

Have Faith.
Trust Love.
Follow your heart.

Spark of Light

illuminated bulb

4/30/17

A plane on
the ground,
a big heavy
piece of metal –
who would know
or believe
that it could fly –
if you had not
seen it
in the air before?

So commonplace
are planes in
the air,
that you no longer
take much notice –
but what inspired
the thoughtful dream
that put airplanes
in the sky –
or any new invention
that requires thinking
outside the box?

Is it not when
you let your
mind,
reach out untethered
from your story
or beliefs
that things must
happen a certain way –
are there not
a multitude
of possibilities,
inspirations,
drops from a
Source –
that can spark
creative thinking,
imagining,
what might be
if you let
reflective thoughts
come trickling in?

If you have a
problem,
or are trying to
figure something out –
even if you are
not searching for
a solution,
might you relax
your thoughts –
are not thoughts
only a part
of information
that is available
to You?

Do you not credit
inspiration,
as like a
lightening bolt
from the sky –
with no idea
where an idea
came from –
is it not often
instantaneous,
do you not
liken it to
a light bulb
turning on in
a flash?

Does not a flash
of inspiration
often come
when you are
not thinking –
might it come
when you stop trying,
throwing up your hands
to ask for help?

Might you let go
of needing to have
all the answers –
are there not
also answers
to questions
you do not know
to ask?

Free your mind.
Let go
and let information
flow.
Be open to inspiration –
ask for help
when you feel stuck.
Let each Spark of Light
within
connect with
Sparks of Light
without.

Be expansive.
Be reflective.
Be inspired.
Be the Light.
Open up.
Let go.
Be Love.

Time for Love

20170429 XPicture

4/29/17

Waiting.

When you wait,
or when you “make”
others wait –
is waiting not
the time
that is in between
the time
when something
is “supposed”
to happen?

Is not waiting
a construct
of linear time –
do you not
enter a
state of wait
when there is
an expectation
of being on-time?

Is this not
a balancing act
as you live
in a linear world
that marches
to the tick tock
of the clock,
the rhythm of time
passing by?

How can you
be in the now,
when time
is marked
and measured
in every minute,
every day,
every year,
every season?

And do you not
think of wait-time
as wasted time,
as empty space,
that should be filled
by what should happen
in that measurement
of precious time?

Are you filling time?

Might you change
the way you think
about what goes
into the space
that you call time –
might you be giving
more weight,
more power
to time
than it truly has?

You may also
resist time
in a state of inaction,
procrastinating –
as you do not wish
for time
to be your ruler –
are there not things
you cannot accomplish –
when you rebel
against the
Master of Time?

Who makes Time
the Master?

Yes, there is
a driving force
in the day to day
world that
would be chaotic
without time –
but is there not
space to be
in every moment –
is Now not
the perfect time?

Might you view waiting
and how you feel
in that state of wait
as an indicator
of your relationship
with time –
do you not enter
into a power struggle,
when it comes
to struggling
with time?
Might you find time
within the “wait” –
to simply
and beautifully Be?

Yes there is a balance
you must find,
but as you view
your unfolding day –
might you fill it with
what you Love,
sensing the nudges
of what to do next –
might this be a way
to experience
a day without time –
still accomplishing what
you wish to happen –
might you be
more satisfied,
as you are not
just filling up time?

Be in each moment –
there is no waste,
there is no empty
space of time –
as each moment
is filled with All That Is –
you need never
wait for Love.
