Nurturing Growth

Growing pains.

Is this not a human
construct,
that to grow means 
it must be hard,
yes at times there 
are old wounds 
that seem to fester 
keeping you on 
guard.

As you are part of
a collective,
are there not collective 
wounds to heal,
you need not solve all
of the world’s problems,
but All of You have 
many layers to peel.

Begin with you,
your growth then 
ripples out –
as All are part of 
this evolving Web,
may you have Grace
for your human self,
and celebrate the 
old skin that you 
shed.

This need not be a 
painful process,
as you nurture self 
with a loving ease,
as you gaze inward
from the external,
Here always present 
is You at Peace!
