A Steady Return

Answer the call,
return to Love.

When the best-laid plans 
begin to crumble
and you have used 
all of your tools,
Here is one tool,
everlasting – 
answer the call,
return to Love.

When trusted routines 
are not helping,
seeing with new eyes 
is a first step,
what is asking for 
some attention – 
answer the call,
return to Love.

Navigating change will 
always be a part 
of life that can 
rock the boat,
keep your eyes on 
the steady horizon – 
answer the call,
return to Love.

You need not give up 
what you believe in,
but use your Strength 
and not your fear,
may Love be the rudder 
keeping you steady,
as you answer the call – 
This You as Love.

Over 20 years ago, I received a request from within which was a question, “are you willing to launch out into the deep with love?“ I did not know really what that meant but after a couple of weeks, I said yes and that’s when I began to see in my mind I a small sailboat with me in it With love and started it out into the sea with the wind, blowing the sales and we kept going deeper and deeper until I knew I could not return to any shore that had been familiar or might have been available. Had we taken the boat there. So I realize then that as long as I trusted love, and did not object to continuing on that this would be a ‘from then on’ unfolding journey and it still is.
