Then You Rise

In life you have weathered
many storms,
ancestors before you 
did too,
putting one foot in
front of the other
has brought this
moment Here 
before You.

Your DNA flows 
with them all,
your heart connections
never end,
you hunker down when 
storms emerge,
but then you rise 
to begin again.

Be resurrected in 
each moment,
create with the brush 
of journeys past,
stand on the solid footing
of your soul,
instead of sand that 
is not meant to 
last.

Draw Strength from 
All Be-ings that 
surround you now,
with Courage do what
you can,
Be This Love when 
storms of life pour
down,
reach out – 
Love always takes
your hand!
