The Nature of You

Breathe in to soothe
nerves that are frayed,
listen to drops of a
gentle rain,
the nature in You
knows how to re-align
with the harmony
of Love’s refrain.

 

Stroke the fur of a 
beloved pet,
marvel at wildlife 
that you see,
the nature in You
knows Here are bonds
that invite connection
with sky,
the trees.

 

May the calm of daybreak
bring you Peace,
may the Peace of twilight
comfort too,
may you breathe deep
into This knowing –
Peace wholly is 
the nature of You!
