Thawing

You need not hurry,
take some things
slow,
be willing to stretch 
more patiently,
notice your body,
your surroundings,
what needs some comfort
or nurturing.

Looking ahead to a 
desired outcome
is like putting blinders
around your eyes,
look around,
Be one who notices
your connections to 
earth and sky.

You may feel like 
rushing into spring,
but do not miss what 
is delicious Here,
as winter thaws
hibernating hearts,
behold what radiates 
from You dear!
