To Begin

Slough off the old –
is new not growing,
do these not go 
hand in hand,
you need not wait 
to create,
Now is a perfect time 
to begin.

Take a cue from 
Spring,
does not new growth 
begin when winter 
is at its end,
transitions are never 
absolute,
you need not wait
for “ready”
to begin.

What bubbles up,
what flows to the
fore,
what snags your attention 
yet again,
release the old,
try something new,
step into Presence 
and begin!
