A Taste of Love

Like when cooking
a favorite dish,
separate ingredients
you begin to mix,
some put a pinch of that
a splash of this,
some measure out
to be exact,
do you not then
stir it all together,
flavors mingling,
needing time,
does not this all
then combine,
to create something
new?

You cannot wait
to try this dish,
but does not patience
go with this,
the flavors may need time
to marinate
or it may need extra time
to bake,
even letting it stand
when cooking is done,
may add to what the flavors
can become,
there may be many steps,
but can you enjoy each step
as it happens next,
is something good
not worth the wait?

is this not like
learning something new,
do you not need time
to integrate,
to introduce the old
to the new,
combining this,
bringing in that,
letting it all simmer
together,
to create a new
result,
one that you may not
have tried before,
might you give it time
to settle in,
to let the flavors
marinate and blend?

Might you be surprised
with what you create,
it may be different than
what you anticipate,
can you bring Joy
to this process,
being present
with every step,
is there not learning
in how you proceed
as much as what you
finish with?

For when you create
your perfect dish,
is there not another
on your list,
enjoy and savor every
delicious bite,
can you feel the wonder
with every step,
as you create with your
“secret” ingredient,
as you add Love
to it All?

Play with the many
Flavors of Love,
be patient as
you mix it up,
do not some things
that you create,
need extra time
to bake,
savor each moment,
enjoy the process,
is not preparing
part of the Joy,
as you create with the
ingredients of Love?

Combine.
Simmer.
Wait.
Enjoy.
Savor every
step of Love
as you
create.

Knowing

Is not knowledge
what you gather
so that your mind
can expand and grow –
is it not so you
may integrate
what your soul
already knows?
What leads you
to the learning
at the perfect time
for you to hear
the answers to
your questions,
are not the answers
always there?

When you are ready
to receive,
does not all
make perfect sense,
your mind may struggle
to keep up,
but does not your soul
know what is true?
With surrender,
with Faith and Trust,
can you let your heart
lead the way,
does not your belief
become knowing,
when you know
that Love Is You?

Your soul already
know this,
but do not All heal
when you do –
when you see that
Love surrounds you,
when you know
You Are Love, too –
you are always part
of the magic,
of the Life Force
that breathes You,
step aside for a moment
from the human
that you have come
to know,
sense the knowing,
feel the power,
of your magnificent
Soul.

Keep gathering,
keep learning
the knowledge
that helps you grow.
Yes, expand
from belief to knowing,
when you listen with
your Soul.

Butterfly’s Lesson

Do you not marvel
at the beauty
and the Strength
of a butterfly?

Though their wings look
thin and fragile,
do they not navigate
through winds,
erratic breezes –
are butterflies not adept
at flying,
or in stillness,
is there not a more
peaceful vision
than a butterfly
in repose?

Are not its wings
a triumphant banner,
that is raised up
when caterpillar is free –
after changes,
transformation,
do not its wings
symbolize its journey
through each phase
on the way to Be,
a miraculous Butterfly?

Do you not learn
from butterfly’s journey,
to have Faith and Trust
in what will be –
you need not wait
for transformation,
do you not possess
all the of beauty and
Strength that you may need,
are you not able
to navigate situations
that leave you breathless
from the wind –
can you not
still your breath
to let the magic
of your existence
filter in?

Though your beauty
is unique,
as each of you
wear different wings,
is it not your Strength
and Courage
that gives you Faith
to transform again –
if you wish to fly,
to soar,
like butterflies that you see,
can you display your colors
as you unfold,
can you raise your flag
for Love?

Love can fill up
any opening,
it can be the wind
beneath your wings,
might you spread
your wings
and with Love lift up
and Be One
with all that
Love brings?

You need not wait
for growth to happen,
it is happening
as we speak –
do butterflies
not teach you,
that miracles do exist?
Are you not a
beautiful miracle
created from
the Miracle of Love?
With Strength and Love
may you marvel
at the Miracle
of You.

Growing With Love

What pushes you
to change and grow,
are you not sometimes
content with the status quo –
then do you not feel
the current,
tugging you this way
or that,
making you push against
or giving you the opportunity
to let go and flow,
is there not always a choice
with a tug or a pull –
what do you hang on to,
what is good to let go?

Can you be comfortable
with the uncomfortableness
of change,
you may ask for more insight,
you may reach for a dream,
does not the road travelled
come with experiences
to show
that you are always changing
and do not challenges
help you to grow?

When you are pushed,
pulled or stretched,
does not the human
sometimes balk,
change need not be
uncomfortable,
what comes up for you
to see?
Ego loves to hold onto
patterns,
expectations to stay
in place,
but does not each
prickly experience
help you to look
for inner Peace,
if you cannot change
the external,
what reaction might
you seek,
does not each new
experience,
help you to find
the Balance of Love?

Do you not see a different
perspective,
when you come from
inner Strength,
does not Courage help you
to realize,
you are ready to continue
on,
do not experiences
push and pull you,
to see the Truth
of Who You Are –
does not life give you
opportunities
to know that
You Are always,
always Love?

Your perspective
may be clouded
by what is blocking
your view,
can you let go,
might you surrender,
to the beautiful,
magnificent You?

With nothing to prove,
you need not earn
the Love of All That Is –
Love Is Here.
Love Is There.
You Are That.
You Are Love.

Trust Love

Trust Love.

You may have disappointments,
life may go up and down,
your scenery may change
all around you,
or it may stay the same –
one day all falls into place,
the next it scatters once again,
what can you always go back to,
what is constant and is there –
trust Love.

An observer can look at all
with an objective eye,
when you are in the midst
of a drama,
is it not hard to feel the flow,
what anchors you,
what grounds you
and what lets you fly high –
do you not sense
Who You Are,
when you are able to
trust Love?

You may need to shift
your perspective,
yes, there are many tools
for this,
but Love is ever-present,
always ready,
at your fingertips –
when you wish to witness
the Truth
of Who You Are
at any time –
take a moment,
take a break,
be still and
trust Love.

You need not ride
the rollercoaster of life,
with its ups and downs,
when you are down,
is it not Love
that helps you
to get back up,
can you observe,
shaking your head,
by what life can bring
your way
and know that all
roads you are on,
are leading you to
trust Love?

Take a step back,
turn up your Light.
See the Truth of
Who You Are.
Love is within You,
Love is around You,
Believe in You
and Trust Love.

Building With Love

Do not building blocks
help you to climb,
help you to see,
what you may not
have been able
to perceive
from where you were?

Is it not in
experience
that you shift
and grow,
are you not
at times like
a ball of dough –
might you knead this
in order to create that,
is not the push
and pull
of life’s experience
often the catalyst
that lets you know
where you can welcome
in more Light,
so you can better see?

Can you step upon
each building block
that is made of Love
to lift you up,
it may be hard not
to bring expectation in,
but can you have Faith
in the Process of Love,
that helps peel off
what may cover up
the expression of Love
That You Are –
are you not shaping,
are you not creating,
so that your human side
can see the magnificence
of Who You Are?

Feel the Gratitude
for every experience,
each one a building block
for you to climb,
you are your own
mountain
in this Journey of Life –
you can sit at the top
or you can experience
the hike,
no matter what route
you take,
you are already there –
a magnificent
Expression of Love.

With Faith

In the still
of a cold, dark
winter,
do you not have Faith
that there is
more light –
seeping in,
ever slowly,
but each day
the sun always rises
again,
and underneath
the snow,
under frozen ground,
does not growth await,
for the warmth,
for the Light,
when the timing
is right?

With Faith
does not come
patience,
with Gratitude
do you not applaud
each step?
There is no need
to hurry,
can you accept
what flows
with Love –
keep your face
towards the Light,
focus your heart
on this Path of Love,
let the Light
keep Hope burning,
as you follow
what you dream of.

You can follow
nature’s lead,
and Be each season
that unfolds,
adapting to your
surroundings,
but with a purpose
through all time –
are you not the Light
of the moon,
the stars,
the Light and warmth
of the sun,
as each new day
is dawning,
do you not create
with Light and Love?

Let Love shine its Light
on you,
let Love keep you
going strong,
even when it is dark,
the glow of light
will help you along,
with Faith during a cold, dark winter,
do you not know
that spring will come –
Trust that with
Light and Love,
you will always
find your way
to where you belong?

With Faith
there is Hope.
With Trust,
there is Love.
You Are Light.
You Are Love.
Shine your Light
and have Faith
in You.

Asking Love

Just ask.

You spend time alone
within your mind,
following thoughts around
that go here and there –
are thoughts not like
a dog
taking you for a walk,
darting here,
“no, I need to go there” –
when you wish for
a little help
with the thoughts that circle
around and around –
just ask.

There are patterns
that you follow,
programs you are
used to,
when you bump into
something
that makes you
see what you do,
can you let go
of old behavior
and create a pathway
that is new,
you may wonder how
to do this,
if you have not been
on this road before –
just ask.

There is support
whenever you need it –
does not Love
light your way?
This need not be
a solitary experience,
is there not help
that wishes to play,
yes, you call upon
friends and family,
but is there not help
from “up above” –
do not your guides,
your angels,
your loved ones
know a thing or two
about Love?
Just ask.

Does not receiving begin
when you open up
your heart,
does not surrender
place you in a space
to see what is next,
the answer may be
what you know,
but might it be
what you do not expect,
are you not open
to all possibility,
when you
simply ask?

“Show me,
lead me,
guide me.”
You have heard
these words before –
is not what you are asking
is to sense and Be
more Love?
There is nothing
that needs to be added –
only strip away
what clouds your view,
does not the Light of Love
bring you the answers
as it illuminates You –
just ask.

When you ask
are you not open
to what may filter
in to you –
you have all of the answers
and with Love,
know what to do.
Let the Light of Love
guide you,
you are never separate
from Love.
Ask and then receive
the perfect answer –
it is always,
always Love.

Having Faith

Have Faith.

When you know
that you do not know,
everything that you
wish to know,
when you look
at the great unknown –
is this not
the perfect time
to have Faith?

For is not Faith
truly your inner
knowing,
an inner compass
that you can depend,
does not Faith
guide you through
thick or thin,
when you have been
knocked down,
what picks you up
again –
is it not when
you reach within
and have Faith?

Is not Faith
when you believe
there is something
greater than you –
you may call It
God,
Source,
Divine,
but as You Are Love
are you not That, too,
what would it mean
to have Faith in You –
does that not happen
when you let
your Light shine?
Have Faith.

Yes, you wish to know
all that you want to know,
but when you
know Love,
know Light,
is it not Faith
that holds you tight,
surrounding you
with loving arms,
shining a Light
when it is dark,
are Strength and Courage
not always there,
when you
have Faith?

Know that You Are
Love and Light.
In your Knowing,
you shine so bright.
From your first step
to when you fly,
Faith is always
by your side.

There is no limit
as Love never ends –
in Light and Love
there is always
Faith.
