You dip your toe
into the water –
to see if youÂ
wish to go in.
Is it too hot,
too cold,
or maybe you
are not comfortable
enough in the water
to wade or
jump right in?
Might it be a
new experience –
if you are used
to swimming in a pool,
to dip your toe
into the ocean?
Yes, it is water,
but your eyes
see it as something
very different,
something new.
Is there a line
that is drawn
by your
“I am comfortable” gauge?
A line your mind
places in front of you
to keep the status quo –
so you may think
that you know
all you need
to know?
Is there not
initial discomfort
in trying something new –
does your mind
not balk at challenges saying,
“that water may be too cold,”
“I may not be a
strong enough swimmer
to venture out
into the ocean,”
“I have not done
(whatever it is)
this way before?”
But you have moved
this line before –
you have learned
how to swim,
you have set intentions,
asked for help
and have you not
learned how to
dive in?
There is always
another challenge,
when you are
expanding in your growth –
dip in your toe
to check it out,
but know your
comfort line always
grows with you –
as you know
there is always
more to know.
Is your comfort line
not an indicator
that there is
new growth ahead?
Yes, your mind may wish
to slow things down
and dig in your heels –
but does your soul
not wish to leap
over the line
at this chance?
An opportunity for growth,
a new adventure lies ahead –
is your soul not always
ready to dive in?
If you need to
learn more strokes
in order to swim
with greater ease –
ask for help
and try it out –
do you not look back
at times and see
how far you have come?
Dip your toe
into the water
and know you have
been this way before.
There is Love
and support
that surround you
as you grow.
Believe in Love
that shows You
the way.
As You Are Love
Believe in You –
dive into Love
dive in.
