You Are Love Now

The days grow longer.
Yes, signs of spring
add to the look,
the feel,
the sounds of
the day.
The birds are busy
making way for
their young,
taking advantage
of longer
dawn to dusk.

Do you not look
to see the signs
of spring emerging –
is there not a freshness
in the air,
the hope of new growth,
as there is more Light –
do you not sense
that it is time to awaken
from your winter’s slumber –
much like the Bear?

With the ebb and flow
in the cycles of Life –
there are times to rest
and there are times
of growth –
does not bringing
in the Light
help you to see –
does not Light bring hope,
much like the
emergence of spring?

And as you awaken
from your winter’s sleep –
is it not time to rub
the sleep from your eyes –
as you venture out
to look around
with a new perspective –
is not everything illuminated
when you bring in
more Light?

Stretch your muscles,
take advantage of
the Light,
take stock in
what arises,
what is asking
for your attention,
what is ready
to begin.

As you awaken
from your slumber,
with a blessing
of Gratitude
in your heart –
step into the Light
and let your own
Light shine.
