You imagine yourself
swimming laps in a pool,
pushing off on one side,
to swim to the other –
then to turn and swim back
once again.
You have practiced
the art of swimming –
are you not ready
for something new?
Could you not swim
in a lake –
the open water
inviting you in,
giving you room
to explore,
do you not at first
feel hesitation –
wondering if you
are “good enough” –
but are you not
comfortable swimming now –
could you not swim
most anywhere?
And now that you are
swimming in the lake,
mastering the art
of swimming in open water,
enjoying the freedom
that it brings –
can you imagine
swimming in the deep
and beautiful ocean?
And yes,
there are differences
when swimming in
a pool,
a lake,
the ocean –
but once you are
comfortable being a swimmer,
could you not
swim anywhere?
Is it not your mind
that wishes to limit –
to place the walls
around the pool –
trying to make you
feel safe and secure,
keeping you comfortable
with the status quo?
But as you feel
the warm salty water,
its buoyancy lifting
you up –
as each stroke propels you
through the ocean,
do you not wonder how
you thought
that you could only
swim in a pool?
Do your thoughts
not wish to keep you
in the confines
of your mind –
can you expand
the vision of
what you can do –
can you get out
of the pool,
to the lake,
or the ocean –
and touch the limitlessness
of You?
There is assistance
when you need it –
there is help
whenever you ask –
you may surprise yourself
when you stretch yourself
beyond what you
have experienced before.
Set your vision
past the horizon,
beyond what you
can see.
Swim in the
Sea of Possibility.
And Being the Love
of All That Is,
open up your mind
and sense
the Truth of the
Limitlessness of You.
Imagine.
No walls,
no limits,
no end.
All Is Possible.
All Is Love.
Bigger than the ocean.
Past the horizon.
Eternal, limitless
Love.
