Perfectly Human

Is laughter not
a letting go?

When you need
to disengage
from the day to day,
when taking yourself
too seriously
keeps you attached
to the fray,
can you not find
humor,
be it silly
or part of play,
to help you surrender,
let go,
letting laughter
have its way?

If not a laugh,
it may be tears,
they too can
stop you in your
tracks,
but releasing is
a balm,
that can bring your
focus back,
demonstrating you are
to feel,
to Be,
in this present moment
now,
fully human,
but not just
“me”,
a part of
Everything,
somehow.

Let laughter or
tears,
open you up
when your mind begins
to numb,
or your heart
feels closed,
or you are ready
for some fun,
it can be exhausting,
being human,
sometimes you feel
you need a break,
can you let laughter
or tears flow,
separate or together,
for your sake?

Let go,
let it Be,
let yourself
off the hook –
succumb to
Be-ing You,
perfectly human,
yet always wrapped,
in your Magnificent
Divinity.

Hi, my name is Sandy. Welcome to You Are Love Now! On my journey of Awakening, in meditation, I was nudged to begin writing what was coming through my consciousness, from my Higher Self and beyond. This happens almost daily and I have been encouraged by those who read these inspired messages to share them with a wider audience. These messages come through me, but they are received from a Higher Source than what my mind could create on its own. I present these Poems of Awakening to you, dear soul, as we travel this spiritual journey together. And the message that I always feel from these writings? You Are Love Now. Perfect. Whole. And always so very loved. If these messages speak to you, I invite you to follow this blog so you may receive the ongoing messages as they are posted.

    1. Might you look at what “explaining to people” means to you? Can you lean into what you are feeling and be with that, honoring that, and asking what it is showing you? Sometimes when I feel I “need” to justify myself to others. . . I see that I am searching for the answers myself. Honor you. See you. Love You! With patience, let your heart help you sort things out. Blessings to you!

      1. Bit more complicated than that, I’m afraid. If I told my family or friends what I’m experiencing, I would most definitely be taken into the mental ward. And there’s still a very good possibility of that happening if I don’t dial it back a bunch with my dad. I’m not being paranoid when I say that I’m being watched, followed everywhere I go, listened to constantly through some technological device, and feel like I’m trapped in this cage that most might call an apartment. Surrounded by storage units and all with hollow walls between them. I don’t know whether to crawl under my bed and hide, run away to another continent, act like a complete and total moron, or tell everyone to fuck off. I don’t trust a single soul anymore and I’m sick of the hairs on the back of my neck standing on edge every time I go in public. I don’t understand it. There is nothing about me that would make it so important to do this to me. I would just like to know I had somewhere I could go that gave me privacy. Not to do anything wrong but just to know that i can just Be.

      2. Yes, just Be! So powerful and that feeling will continue to guide you. I find the best “place” to Be is in meditation. Sending you so much Love upon your journey! ❤️🙏🏻

      3. Seriously?! That’s your response?! I listen to my intuition or I like to think of it as the Holy Spirit but meditation is impossible in this hell trap of an apartment. And what the hell kind of a journey have I been “blessed” with?
