You as Soul

You need not deny your
human emotions,
but might you observe
once removed,
your egoic mind
may have reactions,
but You as Soul
are watching too.

This bit of space
can be the difference
between feeling lost
or seeing Truth,
yes, life brings myriad
experiences,
but your Peace need
not be lost too.

As an observer
there is no judgment
and might you see
with greater clarity,
looking for happiness
in the external
may set you up
with many needs.

There is a constant flow
within you,
Here is where Joy
fully resides,
open to this flow
as Love eternally
is Here inside.

This is not an either-or,
your human self needs
Love and care,
but You as Soul,
as Love’s observer,
accompanies you
always Everywhere!
