You Belong

You belong.

There is a longing
that is ancient
in the human
journey here,
no matter where
you roam upon
the earth –
beloved,
you belong.

You may have years
in one community
or have found a
brand new home,
even when displaced
by disaster –
dearest one,
you belong.

Love is your Home
no matter if you end
your day with others
or alone,
Love is breathing you,
adoring you, dear child –
you belong.

You Are a Light
to fellow Lights,
you are honored your
whole life through,
as you are grounded
to the earth and sky,
to Everything,
you belong!
