Who You (really) Are

Joy is not a switch
you turn on,
Joy is Love bubbling up
from within,
the ego filter often
gets in the way,
distracting you with
so much noise and
din.

But if you listen
very closely,
are there not angels
Here to assist,
might you lift your Voice,
opening your heart
as your soul sings –
yes I Am This!

Joy may sound like
a chorus of angels,
it may appear when
soulful eyes meet yours,
Joy is innately the
Language of your Soul,
Joy is the Essence of
Who You (really) Are!
